The exhibition From Liberation to Victory. Fighting and rebuilding, 1944-1945 chronicles the major episodes in the fighting carried out at the end of the conflict by the Allied Forces and the French Resistance. On this occasion, the Musée de l'Armée has loaned several works, including Jean Delpech's print Forêt-Noire.1re armée. Vaihingen.

This monotype, enhanced with gouache, pastel, watercolor and ink, depicts the liberation of this concentration camp located between Karlsruhe and Stuttgart. Conceived as a death trap for prisoners declared unfit for work in the various Struthof camps in the surrounding area, more than 3,000 inmates died there between 1944 and 1945

Practical information : De la Libération à la Victoire. Combattre et reconstruire, 1944-1945 : free admission exhibition open Tuesday to Friday, 1PM to 5 PM, Saturday from 9:30 AM to 3 PM and Sunday 10 AM to 5 PM. From May 6 to September 21, 2025. Château de Vincennes, Pavillon du Roi, salle des Expositions.
